Camera Questions & Advice
« on: February 07, 2015, 09:55:54 PM »
As so many members are now buying camera's for their bikes I though it would be a good idea to have a sticky thread for questions and advice, so we can keep all camera-related information in one place.  :thumbup2

this is what I use cos they're free...

mediacope... for cropping scenes
windows live movie maker... to put them back together
mega video converter... to reduce the file size

steep learning curve :thumb

my advise to you all either leave them at home or save them for track days
a bud of mine went to prison for speeding as a result of the camera he had fixed to his tank

don't let the next one busted be one of you or even the guy in front popping a wheelie

Sorry festa, I and many other riders are of the totally opposite opinion. Use a camera everywhere you go on the bike. But if you decide to get a bit, OTT with the throttle shall we say, don't be a dick'ed and upload it to the Web.

Okey dokey chappies, can we keep this thread for the more technical questions, answers and advice please, rather than general discussion.

Much appreciated.  :thumbup2

I've just tried downloading Media Cope and Chrome has blocked it, saying it's malware.

Be careful with media cope, it can open the back door to malware such as web browser addons etc, which is why some filters/malware programs don't like it and attempt to block it. (including my avast anti virus/malware program)

If you do download and install it, watch your virus/malware programs for random messsages particularly browser addons and attempts to change your browser search engine!
