Finally back on two wheels!
« on: October 15, 2015, 08:02:17 AM »
Thought i'd post this here.
Yes the Sully is back on two wheels though not with a Varadero, sadly with a Chineese Lexmoto Ranger.
Now I don't want any bashing here pls. It maybe Chineese but better than nothing and at 700, 2014 model, 400 miles, no service history, 1 prev owner its practically brand new.

Stuck in hospital atm however and have been since last Tuesday though hoping to be out today so I can book a CBT.
What I'd like to know is if anyone's had one of these bikes with panniers? Because i'm looking into getting a pair for it, would need a recommendation.

Wouldn't fit panniers to it m8. What with the wind drag you won't get out of 2nd gear.

Ask NH. He's got them and doesn't get higher than 2nd gear.

Well you know I've got a nice pair of skates for the ice!

Done the CBT today and got the insurance and tax sorted out and went out for a spin, so far so good :)

Aye one problem with it so far is the fact that its not going into idle on its own so I'll need to keep the revs up some to stop it from cutting out but otherwise, its running good.

Glad ya back sul! The argument for chink bikes rages on...some deem the new generation to be road worthy but to date all Chinese bike owners I know have dispared eventually due to the shake a pica mix !! bits falling off my cousin owns a Chinese cruiser and its a bucket or rust now. Although some mechanics are endorsing the new models as serious contenders. Personally I feel they have a way to go...but at least they are trying to catch up with the japs.... And as an artist I never buy Chinese pencil sharpeners...one twist and imploded blade death!..... :dunno

Aye lol not wrong there mind you this one doesn't come without its faults though nothing too serious and as long as its looked after then eff all can go wrong.

Had a good ride out today...Went down to Port-Eynon then back home and back out headed to Llandeilo and kinda got lost on the way home though luckily enough sense of direction lead me back to where I wanted to be :D
