Hi,

This is just a short introduction to all fellow bikers and forum members.

My name is Barry and I've worked for Bikesure Insurance Services for several years now. In that time I've been employed within the Bikesure quotation department and have assisted many club members obtain competitive cover. I will be looking to log on every day, if not every other day, so I will be having an active role on the forum in the coming months.

Bikesure (part of Adrian Flux Insurance Services) is a specialist motor/motorcycle insurance intermediary. Im quite sure that some of you may have already heard of us.

If any members on here have any general insurance queries, I'll be more than happy to try and help. Any advice will be totally impartial so please do not feel that I will be bias towards Adrian Flux / Bikesure.

Some of you may already have a policy through Adrian Flux / Bikesure. If this is the case, I'm here to assist with your existing policy as well. Any enquires, just give me a shout and I will have the matter looked into for you. A quick PM to me will surely be more convenient than having to make a phone call. If it is a more complex issue, don't worry, we will call you back when it's convenient with you.

If you would like a quotation from us, I will have someone call you with our best rate. Hopefully the best you'll get! I have no intention of being on this forum to "drum-up business". I will not be pushing you to contact us for a quotation or attempt to force the company on you. If you would like a quotation, I will help. It's that simple. I have nothing to gain from this.....merely helping out fellow bikers who are club members.

A few of us here at Adrian Flux / Bikesure are bikers and so we know that insurance is far from being the most exciting aspect of owning a bike. Hopefully we can save you some time and money on your insurance, which can be spent on your pride and joy!

Anyway, that's me and what I hope to be able to do for everyone.

Feel free to PM me on any insurance matters. You know where I am,

Barry @ Bikesure

Am with AF until 25th April. Renewal quote with bike is horrific. Bennetts have halfed their quote with protected no claims. They were good with the Q plate on the R1 but when I re-registered with DVLA wanted 25 fee with no reduction in policy!  Bye bye bike sure.

What's the point protecting your no claims bonus when they always ask the question "have you had any accidents in the last five years regardless of fault" and then hike your premium up for it anyway  :dunno

Well I have just had an email of Bike sure dropping the premium to 96 fully comp with legal expenses and helmet and leather cover included. That's cheap. I love being older😆

I agree, the wifes bike and car insurance went up after she had a fault claim even though the NCB was protected, the other thing that winds me up is 20yrs of no claims in the car is not worth anything on my bike policy but if I have a claim in the car it puts the bike policy up, nothing to do with BikeSure as everyone does it but it's cr@p

Can't compare prices against other companies online?
Never mind. If bikesure can't join the 21st century then I won't use them.

Surely asking for a quote here and then comparing it to the best you get on a comparrison site isn't hard ?  :dunno

Just saying like.  :dunno2

I work permanent nights, so most of the stuff I do online such as bike insurance etc is done at around 2 -3 am .
If I can't compare a quote against others online at these times then I won't use that company.

Simples.
