The Bikers Café / Donington Race review

Fab weekends racing at Donington. Only raced there once in 2010 and crashed on 2nd lap and that was it. Took a while to learn  the track with 132 in practice and a 129 in qualifying. First race had a great battle with Gareth Williams and a chap on a new R1M. Followed them for most of the race to get a tidy move set up. Ended up a last corner out-braking move on last lap which just stuck - happy days. Race two was wet and similar battle with Gareth and few others #124 ? . R1M guy took off in the wet with his traction control etc. Similar end to the race last lap/corner move on 4 bikes but out broke myself and lost  all drive as they all went by me 😭. Race 3 and was use to track and new gearing (Bike is wheelying in 3rd Gear now !) . Hairy moment on start as Shaun Wynne’s hand flies up as everyone is flying off!! Got into a rhythm and picked off several bikes. Passed Gareth and the R1 early on and went for it knowing he’d be very close to me. Tagged onto a quicker rider and stayed with him for the whole race with no opportunity to pass. Best lap was a 126 (wanted sub 125) but happy with weekend and grabbed a few points too. Big thanks to Tram KSM Racing- Charles Boyo Reynolds- Richard Leonard- Uplands SOM.

Does sound shit! I can't even get insured on anything newer than 2008 and anything I can get insured on, the price is through the roof!

Couldn't get pillion cover on it anyway so Mrs doesn't need to like the seat :)

I dont believe KTM were to blame for any of it in fairness.
